Business survey seeks feedback from digital sector in Staffordshire

Staffordshire University is working with Adroit Economics to conduct a business survey to help establish the size and health of Staffordshire’s Digital sector and to identify any training needs, barriers to growth and other requirements.

Staffordshire University is undertaking an ambitious plan to become the UK’s leading digital university. To achieve this world-class status, the University has invested £40 million in new, state-of the art teaching and learning facilities and £12 million in new computing and games facilities and is embarking on a new major partnership with one of the world’s largest IT companies to become the largest ever university operating on the cloud.

The aim of the survey is to ensure that organisations in Stoke and Staffordshire (including Staffordshire University, Staffordshire County CouncilStoke-On-Trent City Council and the Chambers of Commerce) are providing the right support to maximise the digital sectors future potential. The results of the survey will be published and be vital in providing a robust evidence base to inform the future digital strategy for the region. Businesses also have the opportunity to be included as a case study in the published report.

All responses will be treated in the strictest confidence. Only the University and Adroit will have access to the information that is provided, which will be combined with those of other businesses, so that no details of individual businesses are shown in the results. It will take approximately 20 minutes to complete the questions.
