Have your say on future training available to Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire businesses and employers

Staffordshire County Council, Stoke-on-Trent City Council and Serco are currently undertaking some research with businesses located in their area on skills gaps within businesses.

A survey has been set up to ask about digital skills shortages and gaps that may exist within businesses and the training that may be required as a result both now and in the future.

The partners want as many businesses as possible to participate so that their needs are fully considered in the future.

As part of this important assessment, employers are being asked for feedback which will help to inform the region’s future skills strategy, funding and what interventions may be needed in the future to deliver relevant, funded skills-based training in the area.

Contributions are being sought from a range of organisations, from start-ups to well established businesses, operating in every sector.  As the recipients of future skills training, employers are vital in informing this survey. This is a real opportunity for businesses to influence the future skills development and support in the region.

Serco have commissioned QA Research, a social and economic research company, to gather this information. This survey will close on Friday, 20th March 2020.

You can complete the survey here: Employer survey.
