Located in the heart of England the Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire LEP aims to build on our fantastic transport links, educational institutions and high quality of life, to continue to make Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire an attractive place for business. Businesses such as JCB, Amazon, Jaguar Land Rover, Michelin, Alstom and Pirelli call Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire home, but we will continue to work hard to provide the red carpet treatment to entice new businesses and break down the barriers of enterprise for existing businesses in the region.
By creating a powerful partnership combining the strengths of the public and private sectors, we aim to deliver the scale of growth needed to rebalance the local economy and help to continue the regions long business heritage. A heritage that includes sectors such as advanced manufacturing and the automotive sector, medical and healthcare technologies, professional services, ceramics, logistics and distribution.
The partnership's vision is to make Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire the best place to do business in the UK. We have made it our mission is to create 50,000 jobs and increase the size of the economy by 50% over the next 10 years.
Our focus is on enterprise and innovation with an aim to unlock the potential of the private sector to create employment and wealth and begin growing, restructuring or sustaining the local economy. We aim to create the right conditions and opportunities in which businesses can invest and grow, with a particular focus on sectors and businesses that have the most potential for growth.
