Enterprise Advisors and Employer Engagement

The role of the Enterprise Adviser – get involved

Enterprise Advisers referred to as EA’s are volunteers drawn from the local and national business community. Each Enterprise Adviser  works directly with the Senior Leadership Team of individual schools and colleges to develop effective employer engagement programmes.

With a commitment of one day per month for a minimum period of a year Enterprise Adviser’s bring passion and expert business and sector knowledge to help connect  young people to the world of work and to equip them with the skills they need to succeed in the workplace. Each Enterprise Adviser is fully supported by a Careers and Enterprise Company Enterprise Coordinator (EC) who alongside the network help to ensure Enterprise Advisers can help schools and colleges to navigate what is often a fragmented environment.

• CSR — The opportunity to enhance local business and education links, and invest in your local community as part of your business corporate social responsibility

• Staff Development — Great opportunities to develop your own employees skills who get involved
Efficiency — A great way to access a cluster of schools through regular network meetings.
• Impact — Working on a 1-2-1 basis allows you to maximise your impact, our Enterprise Coordinator with help you measure this.
